Bug3 is committed to providing fair and transparent refund policies. Due to the nature of our blockchain-based platform and smart contract automation, refund eligibility varies by service type. This policy outlines our refund terms for different platform services.
2. Premium Subscription Refunds
Free Trial Period
- First month is completely free with no charges
- Cancel anytime during trial period with no fees
- No refund necessary as no payment is processed
- Automatic conversion to paid plan unless cancelled
Monthly Subscriptions
- Full refund: Cancel within 48 hours of first payment
- Prorated refund: Cancel within 7 days of renewal for unused time
- No refund: Cancellations after 7 days of billing cycle
- Service continues until end of paid period after cancellation
Multi-Month Subscriptions
- 3-month plans: Full refund if cancelled within 7 days
- 6-month plans: Full refund if cancelled within 14 days
- 12-month plans: Full refund if cancelled within 30 days
- Partial refunds: Prorated for unused months after grace period
3. Bounty and Commission Refunds
Platform Commission (5%)
⚠️ Non-Refundable
Platform commissions are automatically deducted via smart contracts and cannot be refunded once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered for commission fees only in these rare cases:
- Smart contract malfunction or bug in platform code
- Fraudulent activity by researchers (after investigation)
- Incorrect payout due to platform error
- Legal disputes requiring transaction reversal
Note: These refunds require manual processing and may take 15-30 business days to complete.
4. Job Board Posting Refunds
Standard Policy
- Full refund: Cancel within 24 hours of posting
- 50% refund: Cancel within 7 days if no applications received
- No refund: After job has received applications or after 7 days
Performance Guarantee
- Minimum 5 qualified applications within 30 days
- 50% refund if minimum threshold not met
- Must provide feedback on application quality for eligibility
5. Security Audit Service Refunds
Milestone-Based Refunds
- Before audit begins: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
- During initial assessment: 75% refund available
- After detailed analysis starts: 50% refund available
- After final report delivery: No refund available
Quality Guarantee
- Satisfaction guarantee with revision rounds included
- Partial refund if audit quality doesn't meet standards
- Independent review process for dispute resolution
6. Blockchain Transaction Refunds
⚠️ Important Limitations
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design
- Smart contract executions cannot be undone
- Gas fees paid to the network are non-refundable
- IPFS storage costs are non-refundable
Platform Error Exceptions
We may provide compensation for:
- Platform bugs causing incorrect transactions
- UI errors leading to unintended actions
- Smart contract vulnerabilities in our code
- Data corruption or loss due to platform failure
7. Refund Request Process
How to Request a Refund

- Include your account details and transaction information
- Provide reason for refund request with supporting evidence
- Wait for review and response within 5 business days
- Follow additional instructions if approved
Required Information
- Account email address and username
- Transaction ID or subscription reference
- Date and amount of payment
- Detailed explanation of refund reason
- Screenshots or evidence if applicable
Processing Times
- Subscription refunds: 3-5 business days
- Job posting refunds: 5-7 business days
- Commission disputes: 15-30 business days
- Blockchain-related issues: 30-45 business days
8. Refund Methods
Cryptocurrency Payments
- Refunds processed in the same cryptocurrency used for payment
- Current market rates apply at time of refund
- Network transaction fees deducted from refund amount
- Refunded to the original wallet address when possible
Traditional Payments
- Credit card refunds to original payment method
- Bank transfer for large amounts or failed card refunds
- PayPal refunds where applicable
- Processing fees may apply based on payment method
9. Dispute Resolution
Internal Process
- Initial review by customer support team
- Escalation to refund committee for complex cases
- Technical review for blockchain-related disputes
- Final decision by platform management
External Mediation
- Independent arbitration for unresolved disputes
- Blockchain forensics for transaction disputes
- Legal proceedings as last resort

Updated policies apply to new transactions after the effective date. Existing subscriptions and services remain under the terms active at the time of purchase.
